Best War Movies

What do you think is the best war movie? I have always loved Saving Private Ryan because it's so realistic. It made me very happy and grateful that I wasn't born during the World War II because it sure was very scary and difficult. The casting, effects, and storyline made the movie a big hit. I am a big fan of Tom Hanks and I think he did very well on the movie. The movie won the Best Director for Steven Spielberg, Best Cinematography, Best Film Editing, Best Sound, and Best Sound editing during the Academy Awards!



Enemy At The Gates was also incredible. It's a great war movie which describes the events surrounding the Battle of Stalingrad from 1942–1943. You can feel the drama and hostility during the major battle of World War II in which Germany and its allies fought the Soviet Union. Jude Law and Ed Harris were really tremendous. Being a sniper isn't an easy job at all! I was so nervous all the time because the cinematography made it look so real especially if you watch it on big screen.

Those are great movies! For me it has to be Rambo (the latest), Schindler's List, and The Hurt Locker.

I am a fan of Rambo too. I heard that The Expendables is a blockbuster movie too. It's an all star cast and it's got to be very hard core!
