The Karate Kid

The Karate Kid is about a young boy named Dre Parker who moved to China with his mom for reassignment. He caught a beating on his first day from the local kids who are pretty good at kung fu. During another brutal fight with Cheng's group again, he was rescued by the maintenance man Mr. Han (jackie Chan). After mending Dre's injury using a Chinese Medicine called fire cupping, Mr. Han and Dre came to see Cheng's teacher Master Li to make peace but the ruthless teacher refused and wants Cheng and Dre to fight each other off. Mr. Han refused and promised to have Dre come to the tournament and fight with Cheng. Mr. Han then teaches Dre what real Kung Fu is. The lesson was strenuous for a boy his age but he is just as determined to be great so he can defend himself from bullies like Cheng and will never be afraid again.

The movies is just sooo great! I cannot believe how good Jaden is at Kung Fu. He is just amazing! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw him fight on the with Zhenwei Wang (Cheng) on the tournament. The movie is for general patronage and there wasn't a dull moment at all. Jaden is indeed Will Smith's son! He has the charm, sense of humor, and wit of his dad. It's just like watching a young and cuter Will. Everyone will love this movie because there is action, drama, and comedy. Plus we get to see The Great Wall of China, The Forbidden City, and the rest of the most beautiful places in China. I love how the movie is so inspiring as it teaches watchers great life lessons that when you fail, you have to get up and fight back.

The Karate Kid is a must watch movie you should not miss!!!

I haven't watched The Karate Kid yet. I am actually going to watch it with my friends tomorrow . I'm sure the movie is going to be great just like the trailers. I have been waiting for this for a long time because I am a fan of the Smith's ever since!

Yes arwen you should bring your daughter with you. It's funny and inspirational. Wished my mom allowed me to learn any form of martial arts when I was little. It does help in boosting your self confidence. And Jayden is so cute and is growing like a great man like his dad. Love them both on The Pursuit of Happyness. This is definitely a must watch movie!

I love the Smith's and Jaden is definitely like a little Will on the movie. He's so fun to watch with Jackie Chan.

I enjoyed watching the movie. It is one of my favorites! Jaden and Jackie Chan are perfect actors. I remember how fun Rush Hour was . I agree that this is a must watch movies! I cannot wait until it comes out on dvd

I watched it today with my dad because it's father's day and I enjoyed the humor. Jackie Chan makes movies so interesting and there is never a dull moment at all. A wonderful movie for the whole family.
